The piano is a powerful and remarkably versatile instrument, capable of great expression. There is a tremendous amount of music written for the piano, from the simplest pieces to the most complicated sonatas. Additionally, popular and other ‘non-classical’ music can be arranged very well for the piano, sometimes sounding richer than the original song.
Learning to play the piano involves creative as well as analytical skills, as well as the ability to focus deeply on a task.
If you have very young kids and you would like simply to introduce them to music, piano lessons are a great way to do so!
